RECOMMENDATIONS The Vail Academy of Martial Arts has received numerous recommendations throughout the years. Actually too many to list. We work hard to earn the trust and loyalty of both individuals, groups and corporations and hope to add your name to the list of satisfied clients very soon. RECOMMENDATION EXCERPTS Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind It is with great pleasure that we write this letter in support of Mathew Bayley. His contribution to the students at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind has been outstanding and unique. Through their contact with Mathew, the students have experienced obvious self-growth. Over forty students at our school are benefiting from Mathew's leadership. His "magic touch" has added a dimension to their lives that cannot be measured. Gordon L. Toni Sarciell Executive Director Children's World We at Children's World are enjoying the services of Mathew Bayley. We take 4 1/2 year olds to 10 year olds to his karate classes every week. The children really look forward to their classes . Instead of thinking of the class as hard, they think of it as fun; the Key to Mathew's success. Mathew also feels that each child's self-image is fragile and he's careful to teach in a nurturing way, punctuated with lots of humor. He notices even the smallest accomplishments and is always ready with praise. Kay Simon Director Big Kids Little Kids We have been taking children for karate instructions from Mathew Bayley since April 1987. The results have been amazing. Children who had a very negative impression of themselves were astounded by their own accomplishments. We heard "Look what I can do" instead of "I can't." Mathew knows each child individually and works to help each child feel a sense of accomplishment over reaching even the smallest goal. When observing the classes you can feel the positive attitude in Mathew and in the children. As an instructor, Mathew is consistent in his teaching and in the control techniques.
