continues to maintain their high standards.
Kidnap Information
Lately there have been an alarming number of kidnap attempts in our local
neighborhood by pedophiles trying to get children to get into their car. I will
be addressing this in all classes on a regular basis. What I will be telling
the young Ninjas is: All adults, and that means teenagers too, know that it is
wrong to ask a child to get into their car, so if they try to get you to go
with them they are a bad stranger. Yell NO! A MAN OR WOMAN IS TRYING TO STEAL
ME! and run to the closet safe place. It is a great idea if you can spend some
time on a weekend walking with your child the route they go from home to
school, identifying the safe places your child could run to get help. Be sure
and ask their opinion of where they can go. When children participate in the
problem solving process they tend to remember the safety information much
better and feel empowered enough to do it. With four teenage children, I have
first-hand knowledge how powerful peer pressure can be. Let’s use it to our
advantage. Share this information with all your children’s friends parents and
have your child and their friends practice kidnap safety together. The
approach: Adults, and that means teenagers, know better will be applied to:
Asking for help looking for a lost puppy or kitten
Asking a child to keep a secret from their parent
Asking children to accept food, drinks, or presents, etc.
If you have any other concerns you want me to address or feedback on this
information please let me know.

months, children in our program must also join.
The annual membership for children is $30.00. The annual fee for adults is
$40.00 per year which includes a $25,000 accident insurance policy with a
